If you remember the 90s, you know the world of big computing - mainframes, iSeries, on premises servers. Cloud computing and virtualization has fundamentally changed how we work; we now have access to information anywhere we are, we can respond to team mates and clients anywhere we are, and we can automate routine tasks.
But this means that businesses have to fundamentally shift in how they operate, what tools they give their teams, what training the employees will need AND how to build and manage budgets to fit all these moving parts.
Successful businesses think about the IMPACT of the changes they're making.
Successful businesses know their employees are their ambassadors.
